Vocalizations of Limnomedusa macroglossa (Amphibia: Anura: Alsodidae). pp. 97-100 plus Supplementary material.
Abstract. We describe for the first time the parameters of the advertisement and aggressive calls of Limnomedusa macroglossa (Anura: Alsodidae). The results demonstrate that the structure of the calls of L. macroglossa differ from the calls of other species of the Eupsophus–Alsodes clade. This finding may help to elucidate the phylogenetic position of L. macroglossa.
